August 2021 – Across Iceland in a Land rover Defender together with my good friend Frode Kjems Uhre. My plan was to visit Iceland for this adventure together with my father, but he was too busy so my friend Frode stepped in – he didn’t have to think twice. The Land Rover had been booked in advance and was parked ready for us at the airport in Iceland – thanks a lot to http://www.ice-rovers.is.
After some shopping in Reykjavik we headed for southern Iceland along the ring road. We left paved roads just north of Eyjafjallajökull where we entered the first F road on our jurney, F261. For another five days we hardly saw any paved roads before we again met the ring road just east of Myvatn.
