October 2024 – Together with my youngest son Troels I hiked Grand Canyon rim to rim to rim. That is, I crossed the Grand Canyon from the North Rim to the South Rim, and after a rest day, we hiked back to the North Rim. In all we hiked 85 kilometers, gained 3,800 meters of altitude, and walked 115,000 steps. Each way took just under 12 hours including breaks.
