Cross Country from Houston to Seattle

April 2022 – Cross Country from Houston to Seattle. Four days, Seventeen hundred nautical miles, twenty hours and twenty minutes of flight time, twelve stops. In my Cessna Skywagon. With my youngest son Troels.

And finally, a few days with good friends – John and Becky – in Seattle before returning to Denmark. First time at their place in almost three years!

We started out from David Wayne Hooks Memorial (KDWH) and stopped at Waco Regional (KACT), Kickapoo Downtown (KCWC), Tradewind (KTDW), Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional (KGUC), Carbon County Regional (KPUC), Provo Municipal (KPVU), South Valley Regional (U42), Ogden-Hinckley (KOGD), Burley Municipal (KBYI), Lewistone (KLWS), Pullman/Moscow Regional (KPUW) and finally at Paine Field (KPAE).

This was halfway from Houston, Texas to Talkeetna, Alaska. My airplane is now parked and tied down among all the new Boeings at Paine Field for three weeks before second half of the entire trip from Texas to Alaska begins!
