Costa Rica

April 2021 – Ten days in Costa Rica, probably the most beautiful country I have been to. I went there with my older son and his girlfriend. April 2021 was in the middle of the global covid-19 crisis, but Costa Rica was fully open and seemed to manage the crisis very well. Back in Denmark we were all tested trice and in quarantine for five days.

Costa Rica has many beautiful and easily climbable volcanoes, but unfortunately they take security to new standards, summits were closed and off limits to hikers if there was the slightest sign of activity. So no climbing to summits of volcanoes!
