Endelave and Blokhus

August 2019 – What a weekend! Started out by flying my old Piper Cub Special from Maribo (EKMB) to Endelave (EKEL) where the annual Endelave Cub Flyin took place from Friday to Saturday. 15 Cubs and 15 non Cubs visited the flyin, most stayed overnight in tents under the wings.

Saturday back to Lolland close to Maribo (EKMB). But only closed, I landed on a private field next to very good friends of mine who had a huge garden party, they both recently turned 40 years.

And finally, Sunday I flew all the way up to Blokhus located on the north western cost of Denmark. At blokhus 20 planes (including my Cub) were invited to a beach fly-in with thousands of spectators. Sunday evening back to Maribo, this time with some headwind which made the trip more than three hours long.

11 hours of cub flying in three days, what a weekend 🙂
