Alaska with friends

May 2018 – Alaska with my son and two friends. They all got their float licence, I got to fly my Super Cub a lot. We stayed in Talkeetna, in a house just next to the village strip. This way we could park my Super Cub just across a small street along the strip. We had beautiful trips up Denali, through Denali National Park, down to Homer and more.

We flew with Icelandair via Iceland to Anchorage. On the flight from Copenhagen to Keflavik we flew over The Faroe Islands without any clouds whatsoever – a very very rare sight.
