Eyjafjallajökull

May 2010 – When everybody in Europe struggled with canceled flights due to the eruption at Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland, my son Søren, my friend Tue and I flew to Iceland to see the eruption. We had stunning weather and beautiful views of the volcano.

On the way home we had to take a bus to Akureyri because now Keflavik airport near Reykjavik was also closed due to ash from the volcano.
